‘Gears of War 4’ is a true sequel, but will take huge risks to push the series forward

Last year, Microsoft revealed Gears of War 4 at its E3 presentation to the surprise and delight of Gears fans. It was one of the biggest announcements of the keynote presentation, but in the nine months since the reveal, we really haven't learned much more about a game that is sure to be one of the biggest Xbox One exclusive of the year.

 

On Tuesday, that changed, as Game Informer revealed its latest cover story.
