The Galaxy J1 Mini is aimed at low-end markets. It has a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and measures 121.6mm x 63.1mm x 10.8mm in size. Powering the handset is a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 768MB of RAM. The rear-facing camera is a 5MP one and the front is of 0.3MP. The Galaxy J1 Mini comes with a 1500mAh battery and 8GB of internal storage space. Other sensors include USB 2.0, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. Pricing is currently unknown, but we’re expecting it to be somewhere south of $100 contract-free. The handset has already been listed on the company’s product page so it should be available in low-key markets soon. Samsung is expected to start its rollout with the Philippines.
