Sound bars are a fantastic invention. Rather than have to deal with a complex sound system consisting of multiple speakers and, heaven forbid, wires, people can hook up a single speaker cluster that offers a dramatic improvement over the built-in speakers that come with flat-screen TVs. Most sound bars also need a separate wireless subwoofer though, because they can't drive enough bass to round out the sound.

 

That's not always the case, however. Right now Amazon is offering a solid discount on the Yamaha YAS-105 Sound Bar with Bluetooth and Dual Built-in Subwoofers, which is available for just $219.95 with free Prime shipping though March 19.
