T-Mobile is currently running a promotion that gives unlimited data for four lines at a cost of $150 per month. But a new report suggests that T-Mobile might go away with unlimited data plans.

Over recent years, you may have noticed that T-Mobile’s unlimited data plan has gotten more expensive. In 2014, T-Mobile increased the price by $10 per month for a single person to be on their high-speed unlimited plan. At the end of 2015, T-Mobile raised the price to an additional $15 per month.

With T-Mobile’s Binge On program, they’re hoping not as many subscribers will need unlimited data, therefore cutting the losses. This is because the program allows subscribers to use certain apps without it counting against people’s monthly data quota. T-Mobile noted that unlimited users with Binge On show “no significant increase in usage from those with a bucket of high-speed data.”

T-Mobile’s unlimited plan remains in place right now, but it may be put to rest later this year. Only time will tell.
