Guest Brad Ward Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/6a8e77285985c6d24804340c2180fdcf.jpg Sprint and Verizon both announced today that they’re now taking pre-orders for the LG G5. They aren’t the first carriers to announce pre-order availability, though. US Cellular was the first to the game in this regard, and then other carriers and retailers followed suit. That said, Sprint and Verizon are a tad bit late to the game, but are offering some nice incentives if you pre-order an LG G5. Samsung was giving eligible customers a free Gear VR if they pre-ordered the handset, but if you pre-order an LG G5, you’ll get an LG 360 Cam, extra battery, and a charging cradle. Certainly a bit more practical than a virtual reality headset, but a nice incentive all the same. http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/9037b7c68f93e0b995d96649fd4355cf.png On both Sprint and Verizon you’ll find the price about the same–$26/mo on a two-year device payment plan. You also, of course, have the option to buy the device outright at around $624. You’ll also have all your standard activation fees to think about at checkout as well. Those who pre-order the LG G5 won’t have to wait long for this handset. The official launch date is April 1, and both Verizon and Sprint claim that you’ll have your device on or before that date.
