Based on a new report, chinese manufacturer Huawei is preparing a device with a dual-curved display to launch in the second half of 2016. The device is said to be similar to Samsung’s Edge smartphones. While it has not yet been confirmed whether the curved device will be a smartphone or tablet, our bets are on a smartphone. The upcoming Huawei device could be a second generation Mate S. Pricing is expected to be north of $700 USD, considering the fact that the standard Mate S launched with a price tag of $615 USD. This will put Huawei on par, when it comes to pricing, with high-end smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and Apple. Do you think people are willing to pay such a high cost for a smartphone from Huawei? As for us, we’re not so sure this is the right move considering how well the company has been doing with the premium mid-range sector. Let us know your opinion down in the comment section.
