Today, the company introduced the Gear 360 Manager app, which can be downloaded from the Play Store so long as you have a compatible Galaxy device. The Gear 360 is only compatible with the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and Galaxy S6 Edge+. If you have one of these devices, you should be able to download the Gear 360 manager app now. This app will allow you to link your Samsung Gear 360 action camera to your smartphone. The two can pair-up wirelessly, allowing you to view your captured photos and videos on your smartphone. But this still isn’t ideal because your smartphone can’t present 360-degree content without scrolling. This is why you’ll need to then pair your smartphone to your Gear VR headset. This will give you the immersive experience behind your content. In the manager app, you’ll also be able to transfer photos from the camera to your smartphone’s device storage or share it to social networks. You can also use your smartphone as a remote shutter for your action camera. If you’re wondering about when the camera itself will be available to purchase, we don’t have a definite answer. The only place where you can buy the camera right now is Samsung’s homeland of South Korea. While you’re patiently waiting for the camera to make it to your country, check out this intro tutorial on how to get started with the Gear 360. Kolpoiu Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I use Android Phone Manager to manage my Android device. It can move all kinds of data from the phone to computer within a few clicks.
