Sharing is fine, but there’s one thing Netflix won’t let you do with your password

It’s the only way to access the service free of charge. If you’ve got a friend or family member who’s a paying subscriber to Netflix, then all you need is his or her password to get in on the action. There’s legal precedent that makes Netflix password sharing a federal crime, but Netflix really doesn’t care about that. In fact, Netflix says you can do whatever you want with your password... as long as you don't try to sell it.
