Okay seriously, this is pretty cool. Amazon recently began selling a new wireless doorbell system by Nekteck, but there's something special about this particular kit. The front door button and the chime box communicate with each other wirelessly, and neither one needs a button. The explanation on the chime box side of things is simple: it plugs into a standard outlet. Where the button is concerned, however, it actually generates power kinetically to transmit wireless signals so it never needs a battery. How cool is that?
