There was a point in time where the only operating systems worth considering on a laptop where Microsoft's Windows and Apple's Mac operating system. But those days are now long gone. Google's Chrome OS can handle work and play just as well as any Mac or Windows machine, and they offer One big benefit over their rivals: They're much more affordable.

 

Amazon has a sale going right now that will save you up to $30 on 13 different already-discounted Chromebooks, dropping prices into "you'd be insane to not take advantage of this deal" territory. For example, Samsung's hot Chromebook 3 notebook is now just $169.99 with 2GB of RAM or $179.99 with 4GB of RAM!
