4K drone footage reveals that Apple’s Spaceship campus is nearing completion

As Apple preps to move into its new spaceship campus in 2017, progress on the company's gargantuan new headquarters is coming along nicely. Thanks to Matthew Roberts, who just recently shot some jaw-dropping footage of Tesla's Gigafactory, we now have some new 4K drone footage of Apple's new campus to enjoy as well.

 

With Apple planning to run its new building using 100% renewable energy, taking a close look at the solar panels on top of the structure is particularly interesting. Per the video, Roberts estimates that installation of solar panels is about 65% complete at this point.
