At E3 2014, the game was officially announced and we got our first glimpse at conceptual footage and images. A year later, Mass Effect: Andromeda made its deubt at E3 2015 and at the end of 2016, we finally saw gameplay footage. It's been a long journey, but after 4+ years in various stages of development, BioWare finally announced a release date for the highly anticipated follow-up to the Mass Effect trilogy on Wednesday.
