Nokia, the former undisputed king of the mobile phone business, decided a few years not to do the one thing its fans asked for, and the one thing everyone else was doing. It stood against the Android change and decided to put everything it had behind Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform. That decision ultimately killed Nokia’s smartphone ambitions. But the giant is not completely out of the game, and while it has a tough road ahead, the Nokia phone brand is not going to die without putting up one more fight.
