It was a busy week in the mobile universe this week, as we put one more MWC edition beyond us. We also had the Oscars, complete with a monumental blunder we’ll joke about for years. On top of that, we saw a significant number of new trailers. So go get yourself some popcorn, as we have plenty of trailers to talk about.

Alien: Covenant

The brand new Alien clip finally shows us that scary monster we’ve grown to love over the years. As expected, he or she is chasing dinner on a distant planet that humans are supposed to colonize. The film comes out May 19th

Cars 3

Yes, there’s a new Cars animation this year, and we’ve got a fresh trailer from Disney for you. The “next-generation” is apparently coming, and this extended clip tells us what to expect from the movie. Apparently, Lightning McQueen is getting a bit rusty. Cars launches June 16th.

Deadpool 2

We talked about the first Deadpool 2 teaser earlier this month. It’s a great clip that only makes us want more. Unfortunately, the only video of it that we have so far is a blurry clip recorded in a theater, which is where this footage is shown — read more about Deadpool 2’s teaser here.

Goon: Last of the Enforcers

Remember the original Goon? For some reason, there’s a sequel that has the same general premise: Hockey fighting. Sean William Scott is back for the role, and Last of the Enforcers will hit cinemas on March 17th.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

The new Guardians episode is one of the must-see flicks of the year. It’s got action, it’s got humor, it’s got “I am your father” scenes. What more can you ask for? May 5th can’t come soon enough, though.

How to Be a Latin Lover

It’s time to have another look at the How to Be a Latin Lover comedy that’s launching in late April. It’s about a man who made a career of seducing rich older women, and how he’s dumped after 25 years of marriage. Time to… become a Latin lover? Kristen Bell, Salma Hayek, Rob Lowe, and Michael Cera star in this one, but Eugenio Derbez is the lover. I think.

Kong: Skull Island

Next Friday, Kong: Skull Island launches, which means it’s time to prepare with a brand new clip for the next installment in this new King Kong franchise.

Norman

An old Richard Gere seems to be perfect for this Norman movie. It’s a film about a somewhat annoying man who ends up getting into a position that gives him a lot of power after he becomes the friend of a politician. Norman hits theaters on April 14th.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Yes, they can make Johnny Depp great again. Wait, I meant young again, for Disney’s next Pirates of the Caribbean episode, as you can see in this fresh new trailer. Dead Men Tells No Tales premieres on May 26th.

Sand Castle

Coming out on April 17th to your computer, smartphone, and TV, Sand Castle is a Netflix movie about a group of American soldiers in the early days of the 2003 Iraq war.

Spark: A Space Tail

Let’s not call Spark: A Space Tail a Zootopia movie set up in space. But that’s what it is. We’re looking at a sci-fi world where all animals live together for better of worse, and the good guys will be fighting the bad guys. Jace Norman, Jessica Biel, Susan Sarandon, Hillary Swank, and Patrick Stewart do the voices, and the movie launches on April 14th.

The Dinner

The Dinner is the second movie trailer starring Richard Gere that we have for you today. Unlike Norman, this one is a thriller about families and dangerous secrets. The Dinner arrives in cinemas on May 5th.

The Promise

The Ottoman Empire is a pretty hot subject this year. After The Ottoman Lieutenant, we have one more story set in the same place. The Promise, starring Christian Bale, Charlotte Le Bon, and Oscar Isaac, follows a love triangle in the last days of the Empire.

War Machine

In addition to Sand Castle, Netflix has another war movie for you. War Machine that will be released on 26th. Starring Brad Pitt and Tilda Swinton, the movie is a satire of the war in Afghanistan.
