Camera App Not Working

My Android phone was working perfectly until recently I found that the camera is not working. It says failed to open camera. No, I don't remember the phone dropping on the floor and having any kind of hard ware damages due to mishandling. I do not see any warnings in the camera app as well.

Try to clear the cache. If that don't work boot in safe mode and check permissions.

That did not work but I just installed  a new camera app and now the camera works. I do not know what there was problem with inbuilt app.

That can be frustrating. I have been there too and It could be due to a bug in your phone’s system, you should try turning your phone off then restart it, or clear cache and data. At times this can solve the problem. If not, you may also re-install the camera app or check on the software update for the camera application.

It feels bad to know that your camera app is not working. The best thing that one can do is to check whether other apps are already accessing the camera for instance Facebook or whatsAPP. Secondly, you need to make sure that the camera permissions are allowed in the settings. If none of these helps, you may probably want to try the third option of resetting your phone.
