fdk1971 Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 One of the very few criticisms I have of Android vs iPhone is audio interface when using earphones. When I used to have an iPhone, I could click a button on my headphones to answer an incoming call... the exact same pair of headphones with my Android phone the click button doesn't answer incoming calls. It's also annoyingly weird trying to pair a new set of bluetooth headphones on an Android... sometimes the pairing just fails for absolutely no reason? Has anybody else experienced any of these issues with Android phones? Any resolutions? Quote
AOSF Admin AWS Posted December 15, 2024 AOSF Admin Posted December 15, 2024 Yes. Unfortunately Android bluetooth is notoriously hard to deal with. Sometimes connections are impossible. I pretty much gave up on earbuds. I only connect it to my car's system. That is also a pain in the butt. Quote
fdk1971 Posted December 18, 2024 Author Posted December 18, 2024 It's unfortunate because I enjoy listening to music so much and want to be able to reliably listen to music on my phone on the way to work. It's not like it's impossible, it's just not convenient and results in a rush and panic to answer the phone if it rings whilst I'm listening. The connection issues seem to be at their worst when I'm having to change to a different set of earbuds... it's just a nightmare. I wish somebody has some ideas for a solution other than buy an iPhone! 😞 Quote
