fdk1971 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I'm a newbie/learning coder, and recently began a project to build a text-based browser game. I'm wondering, if in the future this game was good enough to actually go live, and it grew to the point I wanted to make it more mobile friendly and so release an app, are there any tools available that'd make it easy for me to just show my game through a browser but in its own standalone app? Just wondering for the future, would appreciate and looking forward to any replies! Quote
AOSF Admin AWS Posted December 19, 2024 AOSF Admin Posted December 19, 2024 There are. Check out Android Dev. Lots of good info and a forum to talk about development and deploying new apps. . Quote
fdk1971 Posted December 20, 2024 Author Posted December 20, 2024 Thanks for that - as a completely new person to even considering the development of an app, from your knowledge - would it be pretty simple to build a very basic app that essentially just deployed the browser version of the game inside an app, and is that allowed by Android/Google Play rules? If I recall correctly from a few years ago, Apple would not accept app requests to join the App Store if it was only a basic functioning app like I've described. Quote
