Guest Macky Evangelista Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Recently published by the USPTO, Samsung has filed two patents that will potentially improve their S-Pen in the near future with a microphone and speaker built right in. The idea is that the user will be able to make phone calls and perform various voice commands straight through the S-Pen. Comments from Samsung themselves states that they’re hoping the Pen will become an extension of the device and allow people to “substitute the pen for a wireless headset,” even claiming that users can “mount the pen to a shirt pocket or the like and communicate in a phone call using the portable terminal as a base.” What do you guys think about this feature if it gets added into the next Galaxy Note Tablet? source: USPTO ( 1 , 2 ) via: Phone Arena Come comment on this article: Samsung patents a stylus with a microphone and a speaker Visit TalkAndroid for Android news, Android guides, and much more!
