Guest Robert Nazarian Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Remember that teaser Tweet HTC sent out last week about some sort of repair service? Well they finally explained what it was all about. They just launched HTC Advantage, which is for U.S. owners of the HTC One, HTC One Mini, HTC One Max, and we presume the newest flagship they will announce next month. It gives customers a little more than the traditional warranty coverages you will find from other Android manufacturers. With HTC Advantage, if you crack your screen within the first 6 months of ownership, HTC will replace it for free. One caveat is that this will only cover people who buy a phone from today (February 18, 2014) onward. Also part of HTC Advantage is the commitment to push all major Android updates for two years from the launch date of each phone (HTC One series). This is something they already announced last week. They will also offer 25GB to 50GB of free Google Drive storage depending on which HTC series phone you buy. Lastly, they will continue to offer cloud storage to backup your phone in the event that you lose it or it gets stolen, and there is always 24-hour live customer support via a chat online. Not a bad move by HTC. source: HTC Come comment on this article: Cracked your screen on your HTC smartphone?
