Guest Robert Nazarian Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Back in September 2013, Samsung announced ISOCELL, which is an advanced pixel technology for smartphones and tablets. As expected, the Galaxy S 5 will feature ISOCELL, and will hopefully improve the quality of photos dramatically. We explained how ICOCELL works when it was announced, but sometimes a video explaining it is a little easier. ISOCELL tries to achieve what every other manufacturer tries to achieve, and that is better low light performance. “ISOCELL pixels decrease crosstalk between neighboring cells by forming minute barriers between neighboring pixels to increase light sensitivity and control electron collection resulting in higher color fidelity, even in poor lighting conditions.” Check out the video from Samsung after the break.
