Guest Jack Holt Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 With Google opening up the Chromecast SDK to developers we’re finally seeing an influx of castable apps in the Play Store. Today we’re seeing a new app by the name of CloudCaster. The app acts much like AllCast does in that it casts local media, but it’s primary focus is the media that’s in the cloud. CloudCaster supports the following: Direct streaming support ★ Files on your device ★ DLNA (Android 4.0 and up) ★ Google Drive ★ OneDrive ★ Bitcasa ★ Box ★ WebDAV Streaming via device ★ SMB/CIFS ★ Copy.com ★ SugarSync Currently the only issues with the app is that Dropbox isn’t working for new users. There is a free and premium version of the app. The free version is ad-supported and only allows the use of one cloud service. The premium removes that limit as well as removes ads. For those interested, we have the download link and QR code after the break.
