LG G3 backside leak shows that plastic will be dropped in favor of brushed aluminum

LG may finally be choosing a premium material for a flagship device, much like HTC does with its One (M8). The image above leaked earlier this morning and it is a closeup of the alleged LG G3 donning a metal backside. This would make sense at LG’s invitation for its May 27 event features a brushed aluminum background with an engraved message.
