iPhone 4′s new lease on life is apparently over after just three months

Apple still hasn't launched any "new" mobile products yet in 2014, but it did relaunch a couple of old ones. Among them was the iPhone 4, which was re-released in India this past January with 8GB of storage in an effort to help Apple better compete with less expensive phones in the region. The new cheaper iPhone 4 was reportedly helping Apple, but apparently not enough to warrant its continued production.
