Moto X+1 for AT&T shows up on Motorola’s web site

For the second time the successor to Motorola’s 2013 break out flagship is showing up on the company’s US web site. As we can see from the header image above, AT&T is definitely getting the device. There are references to Verizon, and Sprint as well, but so far there is only an official place holder for the AT&T variant.

 

 

The placeholder shows us that the device may cost $400.00 off contract. Of course, that’s speculation and we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to know for sure. However, given that Motorola’s game plan is to bring decent specced devices at a cheaper price point, we don’t expect it to be much more than this. Of course we’ll also have to wait and see if the rumors regarding new

backplate options, including leather, will be available.

 

Before we even see the X+1 — even if it looks like the company itself can barely keep a lid on the device — we’re slated to see the Moto E in an

announcement on Tuesday, May 13. One thing to note about the X+1 image above is that the Moto X is shown as a placeholder. Either way, Motorola is definitely doing well at enticing our curiosity.
