Samsung announces Swarovski partnership — now you can truly ‘bedazzle’ your device

Samsung continues to dominate the smartphone market by offering things that other OEMs wouldn’t even dream of doing themselves.

Today, the company announced a new partnership with Swarovski, the worldwide crystal jewelry company.

The new “Swarovski for Samsung” collection will offer different designs to ‘bling out’ your device.

Younghee Lee, Samsung’s executive VP of Global Marketing, commented on the partnership in a company press release.

“With technology and fashion so deeply intertwined, Samsung is more dedicated than ever to supporting self-expression through technological innovation and meaningful partnerships,”Lee said. “Collaborating with Swarovski on this stunning collection of device accessories reflects our commitment to providing people with user-experiences that express their distinct personalities and tastes.”

For the S5, two design covers will be available, including Vibrant Blue and Mystic Black. For the Gear Fit, Charm Sliders will be available in multiple colors and styles that can be mixed and matched to show the user’s personal tastes. Colors include Brown, Golden Shadow and Crystal. Dangle styles feature Siam Heart, Light Rose Heart, Crystal Skull, Anthracite Skull, Crystal Star, Blue Star and Golden Shadow Lips.

The designer devices are available today in Korea and up for pre-sale in China. Online availability in the UK will be available at a later date. North American availability was not mentioned in the release, but on May 22, offline Samsung stores will also have the devices.
