Guest Christian de Looper Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 An online dating site called AYI.com has released a survey that gives some insight into “which mobile brands singles are more desirable”. The website examined the profiles of 13,690 mobile users, comparing demographic characteristics. The survey ended up giving us some other interesting insights as well. According to the results, iPhone users are 17% more likely to be contacted first by other users, while Android users are 12% more likely to initiate contact with others. In AYI.com’s words, this makes Android users more promiscuous. The results also interestingly concluded that Android users are older, with 42% of them being between 45 and 60, compared to 67% of single iPhone users, who are under 45. The survey also had some interesting conclusions about income, saying that Android users are 30% more likely to earn under $60,000 per year, while 83% of the iPhone users surveyed make over $150,000 per year. Not only that, but it seems that overall iPhone users have a better education altogether, with iPhone users being over 55% more likely to have a Bachelor’s degree, and twice as likely to have a Master’s degree.
