Guest Jeff Causey Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Although it appears Google has shutdown access to a Chromium issue tracker report that should not have been publicly available, they did not get to it before a screen shot was grabbed. The information that was discovered seems to indicate Google is getting closer to releasing a new Nexus tablet and it may come with a new version of the Android operating system, possibly Android 4.5. The issue tracker entry shows a device codenamed “Flounder” which is consistent with previous Nexus family devices that were named after fish for internal purposes. Previous reports suggest Google may be working with HTC on an 8- or 9-inch tablet to succeed last year’s Nexus 7. The entry also shows the device running a development build of the Android operating system that was made on May 6, 2014. A version of the operating system that was built so recently could just indicate Google is working on another update to the 4.4 line. source: Google via: BGR Come comment on this article: Possible Nexus tablet from Google spotted online Visit TalkAndroid for Android news, Android guides, and much more!
