Guest Jared Peters Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 A leak from a source that’s working on the Kids Mode on upcoming Samsung smartphones has given some insight into what Samsung is planning on doing with the screen sizes of their upcoming products, which confirms what we’re going to see on the Galaxy S 5 Prime, Galaxy S 5 Mini, and a new Galaxy Mega. The S 5 Prime (which will probably adopt a different name) is arguably one of the most anticipated devices that everyone expects Samsung to release. It’s rumored to have slightly better specs than the S 5, but more importantly, it will supposedly be made from premium materials, unlike nearly every other plastic Samsung phone that’s released. This leak doesn’t shed much light on specs or design, but it does confirm the device will have a 5.2-inch, 2k screen. That screen is 0.1 inch bigger than what’s on the Galaxy S 5, and the screen resolution matches what LG will likely put in the G3. The next device in the leak is the Galaxy S 5 Mini. We’ve heard several conflicting rumors about this device, especially when it comes to screen size, but it’s looking like the Mini will have a 4.5-inch 720p screen, not the 4.8-inch display we heard about yesterday. A 4.5-inch screen still isn’t small, but it’s going to be noticeably more compact than a 4.8-inch screen. The last device on the list is a new Galaxy Mega, which we haven’t too much about until now. The report says the Mega 2 will have a 6-inch, 720p screen, which is actually a bit smaller than what’s found on the version of the Galaxy Mega in the US. That’s still going to be a pretty big phone. With all of this information leaking so often, it’s only a matter of time before Samsung makes something official. source: GSM Arena Come comment on this article: Details leak about upcoming Samsung Galaxy S 5 Prime, Galaxy S 5 Mini, and next-gen Galaxy Mega Visit TalkAndroid for Android news, Android guides, and much more!
