Guest Jack Holt Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 With Samsung working hard at having tablets with as many screen sizes as possible we’re bound to see some on the larger end of the spectrum. Today we’re seeing a leak that suggests that Samsung will be debuting a 13.3-inch tablet. The screen will be of a LCD type in nature sporting a WQXGA resolution of 2,560×1,600 resolution. From what it looks like that will put the tablet at around 227 ppi. The T911/910 mega-tablet — not to be confused with the Samsung Mega line — may be the new top of the line Galaxy TabPRO model, but little details are known at this time. This leaked information also sheds some light on the new Super AMOLED tablets that Samsung has been working on. The T801/800 10.5-inch tablets, codenamed Chagall but may be known as the Galaxy Tab S, will pack a Super AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 288 ppi. The T701/700 varieties, codenamed Klimt, will have a smaller screen of 8.4-inches but come with a higher pixel density with a 359 ppi. Both tablets have made the rounds in the benchmarking world with both showing up at AnTuTu and as such, we’re able to garner a bit more information about them. The tablets will back the Exynos 5 chipset that will have four Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.9GHz, and four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.3GHz. They will also feature a hexa-core Mali-T628 GPU, and 32-bit dual-channel 933 MHz LPDDR3e RAM, although just how much RAM is yet to be determined. Both will have an 8MP rear camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera and will also come with a fingerprint reader. All three will have Samsung’s customized version of Android 4.4 onboard. All three tablets will come in 3G and WiFi variants. The 3G model may be a 3G/LTE combination but LTE models usually end in 5. No word on when we’ll see these tablets but our guess would be some time this summer.
