Guest Jeff Causey Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Sonos has released a major update to their Sonos Controller for Android app that they say will make it even easier for users to enjoy music via their Sonos speakers and equipment. The updated app includes six features that Sonos suggests users may want to try out: Interface with 38 different music services and providers all from one app, including Songza, Pandora, Google Play and Shuffler.fm. Universal search gives users a single search window to access all services. Use a variety of buttons across the bottom of the Now Playing screen to shuffle, repeat, cross-fade or set timers. The Now Playing screen also gives users simple one-touch controls to functions like saving to favorites or adding tracks to playlists. Merge tracks from different services into a single playlist. Set alarms and timers to automatically turn on music and stream to your choice of speakers. Better control over rooms via a single touch. The new Sonos Controller app is now available in Google Play.
