Guest Christian de Looper Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 With Google Glass finally being released to the public in an “open beta”, it seems that the search giant is already working on a second generation of the device. The reports come in from Kong Wenjun of Crystal Optech, who claims that his company has already provided samples to Google’s R&D division. He also says that Google has certified LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) technology. In fact, Google decided to refrain from establishing a direct relationship with the company in order to prevent the public from finding out about Google’s plans. Other details about the second generation of Glass are unknown, but it’s likely that we won’t officially hear anything for a while.
