Guest Justin Herrick Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Another tablet from Samsung has emerged, but this one is not for everyone. This one is just for educational purposed. The Galaxy Tab 4 Education is a 10.1-inch tablet that is powered by Google Play for Education, so it is bundled with a ton of features to help students and teachers. This tablet is special, though, because it has a rugged construction since students are not exactly the most reliable people when it comes to handling electronic devices. Samsung is also using this tablet to launch Samsung School, a service that will let teachers monitor students’ usage and share their display on a larger one. Specifications are not really the crowned jewel here, but we have them anyways. The 10.1-inch display has a 1280×800 resolution. While the processor’s brand is unknown, we can say that it is quad-core clocked at 1.2GHz with 1.5GB of RAM. In usual Samsung fashion, there is a microSD card slot to build upon the 16GB of internal storage. As I mentioned before, this is rugged and Samsung did so by using Gorilla Glass for the display and silicon for the construction. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Eduction can be purchased today, but you will have to do so with a distribution channel than through a retailer.
