Guest Harrison Kaminsky Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 T-Mobile announced this morning that in a new partnership deal with Walmart, the wholesale corporation will be offering a few low-cost tablets which will come with ‘free data for life’ from T-Mobile. Granted, the ‘free data’ only includes up to 200MB/month, it’s still a solid deal given it’s ‘free.’ Hit the break for details on each tablet and alternative data plans. The available tablets include the $179 Trio AXS 3G (quad-core processor with a 7.85-inch screen, 16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM) and the $229 HP Slate 7 HD (4G, 16GB internal storage and Beats Audio sound). This is an awesome value for those who want to do a little web-surfing and document-downloading on the go, but won’t be very useful for the high-frequency streamers that many of us have become. Customers who purchase the tablets will also have the option of purchasing two different T-Mobile data plans: $35 for 3.5GB/month or $50 for 5GB/month.
