Guest Jared Peters Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 The FCC has inspected and approved a device going by the Oppo N5116, and judging from the released pictures and specs, it looks like it’s going to be a mini version of the Oppo N1. We knew this device was coming, but thanks to this filing we’re getting a much better look at how the device is going to look. The Mini keeps the design of its bigger brother and looks nearly identical, except for the slimmed down screen. The display on the N5116 measures about 5 inches, which is still really hard to call a “mini” device, but since the normal N1 sports a 5.9-inch screen, it’s almost excusable. It’s also only a 720p screen as opposed to the 1080p screen found on the bigger variant. The battery capacity has shrunk a bit, as expected, but the camera resolution (and the swivel that houses it) looks to be the same as the bigger N1. No word on release date or exactly what Oppo’s going to call this phone, but we’ll keep you updated.
