Guest Harrison Kaminsky Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Galaxy S4 Active (international version) owners will be receiving Android 4.4.2 KitKat on their devices this week after Samsung began rolling out the update. The software version, I9295XXUCNE5, will include faster performance, the white status bar icons, improved battery life, full-screen album art while playing music, a camera shortcut on the lockscreen, wireless printing support, ability to set default messaging/launcher apps and more. The update is out in the Netherlands now, and expect it to come to other counties gradually. Give it a week or two before worrying about getting the update. If you want to give it a shot, you can try to manually get the update by going to Settings >> General >> About phone >> Software updates menu, or go through Kies.
