Guest Jack Holt Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 As we move closer to Google’s annual I/O conference, we’re going to see some of the things the search giant plans on showcasing at the event. Today we’re seeing a post on Google+ from the Android Developers account showcasing the notification system of Android Wear. Timothy Jordan shows us what to expect with the upcoming wearables OS. Apps that create notifications on your Android tablet or smartphone can extend to your Android Wear packing device, showing you notifications from there as well. By adding a few lines of code, Jordan says that developers can “deliver even richer experiences on the wearables by using stacks, pages, and voice replies.” To distinguish which app is sending you the notification, each one that pops up has the app’s icon on it. Notifications don’t take up the entire screen but rather, the lower half. So far, the implementation seems to be quite polished, if the pictures are any indication. What do you guys think?
