Guest Jared Peters Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Huawei’s flagship device for 2014, code named “Mulan,” has shown up in the AnTuTu benchmark database. We’re getting a pretty good look at what’s going to power the device, and it looks like it’s going to be a pretty powerful phone. The benchmark confirms an octa-core Kirin processor, 3 GB of RAM, and a 4.9-inch 1080p screen, which is definitely on the same level as the devices that are currently being released. Thanks to the large amount of RAM and capable processor, the Huawei Mulan scored a 36182 in a benchmark rating, putting it just behind the typical Snapdragon 801 and 805 benchmarks, but still above the widely used Snapdragon 800 CPU. While benchmarks don’t necessarily mean great real-world usage, it’s still a good early indicator of how a device will perform. Aside from the processor, RAM, and screen, we know the device will run Android 4.4 and have 16 GB of internal storage. No word on the camera on the device, but considering everything else listed is pretty high-end, I wouldn’t expect a 5 megapixel shooter on this thing. We’ll keep you updated when we hear more. source: AnTuTu via: G for Games Come comment on this article: Benchmarks for the Huawei Mulan confirm 8-core Kirin CPU and 4.9 inch screen Visit TalkAndroid for Android news, Android guides, and much more!
