Moto X+1 not expected to arrive until very end of summer

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Moto X+1? You might want to take a look at another device. While we were fully expecting Motorola to announce its next flagship sometime this summer, it may be at the very end of the season. According to @evleaks, we should “not expect a Moto X+1 release until the literal end of summer — the last days of September.” Not exactly as near as anyone had thought.

Last year’s Moto X was announced in early August and released later that month. So if late September is for the end of that month, an announcement would likely come in late August or early the following month. Again, not what anyone had in mind. At least this time around, Motorola would not be sandwiched between other flagship announcements (aside from just the next iPhone).
