As I know, it is really easy to restore deleted messages and contacts back if you have backup files. If not, you also have no need to worry. Without data backups, you also can take chances to recover data with Coolmuster some app.

Want to recover htc phone lost data ,such as contacts, sms,photos ,you can follow these steps: Press the htc menu-- choose the data you want to recover-- restore the data. This is the most easiest way that I have found.
